Reminder: All schools are released at 2PM today. The buses will start at the HS & MS and travel down to the ES. Lunch schedules are as follows: MS (6/7th) at 10:46AM, MS (8th) & HS at 11:25AM and ES has no change.

Columbus Public Schools is actively searching for a school nutrition worker to start immediately. This position is Monday through Friday during the school year with summers and school vacations off. In addition, this position offers competitive wages and great benefits including vacation/ sick leave, retirement system (PERS), and health insurance. Starting wage is $15.00 but will allow additional pay for experience. CHS & CMS students are dressing up this week in celebration of District Tournaments - here are the assigned dress up days.

This Wednesday, Thursday and Friday all Columbus Public Schools will be dismissed at 1PM. The middle school lunch will be from 12:08-12:38PM, high school lunch will be at 12:38PM, and elementary school lunch schedule remains the same. Buses will pick up at the high school/middle school first and will then proceed to the elementary.

At this morning’s special school board meeting, the board approved setting the technology levy amounts at $200,000 each for both the elementary district and the high school.

Voters will see two separate technology levies on the school election ballot. This will be a mail-in ballot election, with ballots scheduled to be mailed in April.

Additional details about the school election will be shared in the coming weeks to ensure all stakeholders have the information they need to participate and vote.

There will be a special school board meeting on Thursday, February 19 at 7:30am in the middle school admin office.

The school board will consider setting the technology amounts for the elementary and high school technology levies that will be on the school election ballot for May 5, 2026.

The last item the school board will consider a resolution between Columbus School and Yellowstone Bank for financing for the bus barn project.

Columbus High School is hosting the district tournaments Feb. 25-28 and the Booster Club is looking for people interested in providing food for the hospitality room, as well as ticket takers. If you're interested, please contact Tiffaney Teske at 406-671-4452.
